How to Help
Fundraise for CCA
Churches, schools, sports teams, clubs, and businesses across Central Texas raise money for local cancer patients every year. If you would like to run one, send us your idea and we will help you make it happen.
What This Is
Your event, raising money for CCA
A third-party fundraiser is simply an event you organize and run, with the proceeds coming to the Community Cancer Association. You choose what it is and when. We approve it, give you the logos and materials to use, and make sure the money goes straight into helping cancer patients in Central Texas.
It does not need to be big. A collection at a church service and a $3,500 check from a middle school football team have both landed on the same desk.
A Few Ideas
- A church group taking up a special collection
- A restaurant giving a percentage of a night’s takings
- A school or sports team running a spirit night or a jersey sale
- A civic club adding CCA as the beneficiary of an existing event
- A business matching what its staff raise
- A birthday, anniversary, or memorial in place of gifts

How It Works
Three Steps
Send us your idea
Tell us who you are, what you are thinking of running, and roughly when. A sentence is enough to start — we will come back to you with questions.
We review and approve
Terry looks it over and we get it settled together — dates, what CCA can support, and how we'll talk about where the money goes.
We provide logos and materials
Once approved, we release the CCA logo files and any materials you need for flyers, shirts, and social posts, along with how to get the funds to us afterwards.
One thing to know about the logo
The CCA logo and name are released only after a fundraiser is approved. Please do not use them on anything until we have said yes — it protects both of us, and it takes one email to sort out.
Other ways to help
Give directly, put your business behind CCA as a sponsor, or come to one of our events.
